AboutOur Young Preschool Classroom is for children ages 2 to 3. In YPS, we help children get excited about learning through a play-based environment. We start our day off with group time where we read a story together, talk about the weather, the days of the week and the calendar. Then we transition into more explorative play at different stations of the classroom for a majority of the day, where children can choose to play with instruments, engage in pretend play, explore the sensory table, build with blocks, read books, create art and grow their language and emotional skills by connecting with their peers and teachers. This balance between structure and open exploration prepares children for their transition to our Preschool program. In Young Preschool, with the collective support of parents and teachers, we begin toilet training.
